Accommodation

A tutor will be available for the duration of your stay. The groups can select the type of accommodation they prefer: youth hostels, “agriturismi” or hotels*** in five different locations in North East Italy: Rovigo, Adria, Ferrara, the Po Delta Park and at the seaside (Adriatic Coast).

Activities

Our programmes offer you many different possibilities. During the one-week stay you can visit Venice, while the two-week stay gives you the possibility of taking part in three different full day guided tours. Some of our proposed visits are:

  • One day on the coast (April to September) and at the Euganean Thermae.
  • Guided tours of Verona, Padua, Mantua, Bologna, Florence, the Euganean Hills, Treviso and the “Land of Prosecco”.
  • Boat trip along the Po Delta and the Riviera del Brenta
  • Italian cookery course with Italian chefs.
  • Cinema, Theatre, Concerts, Pub, Discotheque

Italian intensive courses - Didactic and method

Our teaching method refers to the most modern techniques for teaching Italian as a foreign language. It is based on communication and students are encouraged to practice all four basic functions of a language: speaking, listening, reading and writing. We use authentic material, together with other support such as: novels, newspapers, magazines, songs, films, comics. Depending on the level, the students are divided into small groups. This allows an effective deep study, and guarantees an individual support and very good results. Our teachers are all Italian native speakers, with experience in the instruction of Italian as a foreign language. Especially for school and university students, we are open to suggestions should you require a more personalised programme with regard to particular subjects or grammar items. On request, we can also offer you courses on Italian literature or business-Italian.
